2014 Walkathon – Information and Donor Form

Come Walk with Us…

Each year there are millions of amputees nationwide that acknowledge the month of April as being Limb Loss Awareness month. There are also 28 million people that are at risk for an amputation. In order to raise the general publics’ awareness, The New England Amputee Association is planning our annual Limb Loss Awareness Walk-a-thon. Our group will be teaming up with Orchard Hill Athletic Club 100 Duval St. in Lancaster, Ma. for the use of their inside walking track for this event. The athletic club has graciously let us use their facility on Sunday April 27 from noon to 3pm. Powered by strength, courage, and support our group is hoping to get as many in the community involved as possible. A portion of our proceeds will sponsor a child to attend a unique camp for children with limb loss, “Camp No Limits” in Maine. Limb loss does not need to stand in the way of all kinds of athletic activities. Remember, we can go “from limb loss to limitless.” We hope that all will come and participate.
